Sue AnderBois is the Director of Climate and Government Relations for The nature Conservancy (RI Chapter) and also sits on TNC's North America Policy and Government Relations Cabinet. Sue is also a member of the Providence City Council. She chairs the Council's Special Committee on the Environment and Resiliency, is a member of the Finance Committee, the Special Commission on Taxation and Revenue, and is a Parks Commissioner. Sue's career has been focused on policy and strategy to address climate change, expand clean energy, and support local food systems. She most recently has previously served as Rhode Island's first director of Food Strategy, but has also worked on policy for the Northeast Clean Energy Council and the Energy Foundation. She has a BA in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College ('05) and an MBA from the Yale School of Management ('13). She lives in Providence, RI with her husband Scott and their dog (Captain Ruggles) and cats (Zeni and Wasabi). In her spare time, she enjoys weight lifting and kettlebells and reading.
