When thinking about the potential for our clean energy transition to work as a tool for social and economic justice, it is important to view workforce development in a lens that is more holistic than simply “job creation.” This panel will explore best practices for using workforce development as a tool for equity, providing examples of implementation. Panelists will discuss how to set individuals from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds up for success with family-sustaining careers, apprenticeships, and wraparound support.
