Sarah Pidgeon is the Executive Director for Workforce Development at Solar Landscape. In her role, she is committed to educating, training, and developing the solar workforce of tomorrow through Solar Landscape's key workforce programs including train-the-trainer, STEP-UP solar installation training, and GAP- a green ambassador program for high school students. Sarah is dedicated to ensuring that communities who have been dispropriatinaly affected by the climate crisis have access to the training and support to enter the growing clean energy economy. Prior to joining Solar Landscape, Sarah was the Chief Program Officer at Solar One, a NYC based nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to the benefits of clean energy to all through K-12 education, solar technical assistance, and workforce development. Sarah served as the Vice Chair of the Environmental Education Advisory Council of NYC, and as a member of the strategy committee for the NYC Green Economy Network. She holds an MBA in Managmeent for Mission Driven Organizations from Marlboro College in Vermont.
